First State Urgent Vet offers care for your pet when it's needed the most. Urgent veterinary care is an outpatient, walk-in service that provides treatment to sick pets who need prompt access to a veterinarian but do not require to require for emergency care. Common urgent veterinary conditions treated include (but are not limited to):
Diarrhea / Blood in Stool
Decrease in appetite
Anal Gland Problems
We can’t keep your pet for overnight stays, and we’re not equipped to handle cases that require hospitalization or advanced surgical care. If we diagnose a serious condition, we’ll discuss other options with you, including the possible need for an immediate transfer to a 24-hour emergency hospital.
