Dr. Danielle Downs has over a decade of experience in general medicine and surgery, working with dogs and cats in the Delaware area. Dr. Downs received her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Georgia.

Dr. Stephanie DeMarco has been practicing Veterinary Medicine in Delaware for over 20 years. At First State Urgent Vet, Dr. DeMarco will provide Urgent Care to all patients, but she is also excited to have a “closed practice” for wellness & personalized care available for patients and clients that have received regular care from Dr. DeMarco in the past.

Dr. Athey graduated veterinary school from Lincoln Memorial University - College of Veterinary Medicine in Harrogate, TN. She lives in Wilmington with her two spoiled, three-legged cats, Floof and Dru. While in high school and college Dr. Athey was an avid horseback rider and competed in the IEA and IHSA.
